Enhance Review
Enhance.com, formerly Ah-Ha.com, boasts that it receives over one billion search queries a month and reaches popular portals including EarthLink, InfoSpace and MSN. Despite, or perhaps because of, its high traffic, Enhance.com has consistently underperformed other pay-per-click search engines in our tests.
Enhance provides a swift, easy to navigate control center that makes managing campaigns on their multiple forms of advertising services easy. Along with pay-per-click search advertising, Enhance also offers index inclusion and banner advertising. Managing listings and keywords was simple. New listings and keywords had to be manually approved, which took just over a day.
While Enhance had no problem delivering large amounts of visitors to our websites, these visitors browsed far fewer pages on average than those from other services and not one sale was made with nearly 1000 clicks. This lack of visitor activity and conversions is unexplained by Enhance.com and the primary reason for its low rating in this review.
While Enhance lists several popular portals among its network, none of our visits came from those websites, but instead came from a very limited number of search websites whose referring URLs did not point back to an actual search results page for us to view.
Amendment to Enhance.com Review
Since the writing of this review, we exchanged several e-mails with Enhance.com. After investigation of our account, Enhance determined that a single partner-of-a-partner was flooding us with poor quality traffic through their service. They disabled our ads displaying on that particular website and we finally saw traffic from some of their higher quality search partners, which did result in seeing some activity on our websites. While still performing below other services reviewed on this website, our recent results at Enhance show that they can provide quality traffic and are willing to work individually with their advertisers.
