7Search Review
The majority of searches that come from 7Search are driven by their affiliate network of smaller search engines, portals and websites. While this provides 7Search with enough reach to be worth spending money on, they are often unable to deliver a large amount of traffic to advertisers even when they're willing to pay for top ranks.
This low amount of overall traffic is one of 7Search's strongest drawbacks, as the quality of the traffic tends to be very good, on par with other 2nd-tier PPC search engines. 7Search's management interface provides most of the tools needed for easy campaign control but is sometimes confusing to navigate. Reports are only available for the most recent three months, and the results are plainly formatted with no ability to sort.
7Search provides a MakeTop tool to automatically set all bids to first, second or third position with a maximum cost per click, but provides no choice over which listings to run it on.
With 7Search, the key to effectively making use of what traffic is available is to bid on a broad set of search terms and to remain in the top five positions. Because nearly all of 7Search's traffic comes from affiliate sites and small search engines, only the top five positions get enough exposure to be worthwhile. This is balanced out in part by low average bid costs compared to first tier PPC search engines, making 7Search a worthwhile long term advertising spend.
